I deal with landlords directly - most are very normal reasonable people. I will guide you thru the process and help you with check in, but mostly you will be connecting and dealing directly with owners (they will be dealing with any arising problems, holding deposits, etc).
Landlords pay me, so I charge NO service/booking fees - which saves you 20% over other rental websites. Most seasonal rentals require upfront payment in full + deposit + hoa/condo application/credit/background check fee + departure cleaning fee (some landlords will return if you return the place in a sparkling clean conditon).
